Allicock going for gold at Commonwealth Youth Games

Guyanese standout boxer, Keevin Allicock is at least assured of a silver medal at this year’s ongoing Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas.

The 52kg pugilist punched his way to today’s final after securing a semifinal victory yesterday against Canadian, Jordan Mathieu.

Allicock won the bout 5-nil to set up a gold medal match against Englishman, James David. Fight time is 13:00hrs. Stabroek Sport will keep readers updated on the young prize fighters’ accomplishment in the next publication.
