A source tells TMZ that it took some convincing on Justin’s part to prove to Selena that rekindling their romance was nothing but a good thing for both of them. The source adds that Selena’s kidney transplantation was the one which made Justin reconnect to Selena. Justin reportedly knew how much the ex-girlfriend of The Weeknd meant for him when he realized that the 23-yearold beauty could die during the lifethreatening medical emergency. Although Justin made a move on Selena when she was still in a relationship the “Starboy” hitmaker, the source claims that Justin has nothing to do with the breakup, noting the Selena and The Weeknd’s relationship had been fizzling for months. The source also shuts down rumours saying Selena and Justin reunited for business. The source adds that the two global stars are not even planning a collaboration. Another source previously claimed that Selena and Justin, who dated on and off from 2011 to 2014, were full-on dating again. “Selena and The Weeknd just fizzled and ended amicably - it wasn’t dramatic and it wasn’t about Justin. But Selena always had feelings for Justin.
