Fernandes and Islam continue winning form

Taylor Fernandes and Daniel Islam battled to contrasting wins in the Category-A division, when the Farfan and Mendes Junior Skill Level Squash Championship, continued on Friday at the Georgetown Club Facility, Camp Street.

Fernandes overcame rising star Samuel Ince-Carvalhal 6-11, 11-2, 11-8, 11-4, whilst Daniel Islam bested his twin, Anthony Islam 11-6, 11-8, 11-9.

Meanwhile, Abosaide Cadogan humbled Demetrius DeAbreu 11-7, 11-5, 11-7 in their Category B division.

Also, Chad DeAbreu downed Jahcinta Adams 11-4, 11-8, 13-11, while Dhiren Persaud squeaked past Teija Edwards 11-5, 11-7, 5-11, 11-6 in Category D fixtures. The event concludes today at the same venue. The complete list of results for the divisional matches staged on Friday are as follows:
