Wash the clouds away

-

It happens. You wash glasses, but they still look foggy and unwashed. No one wants to offer guests a drink in a cloudy glass; you don’t want to drink out it either even though you know for sure that it’s clean.

If your glasses appear resistant to basic soap and water, here are a few measures you can take, and they do not involve buying new glasses.

Soak your glasses for about five minutes in white vinegar, don’t dilute it. The acetic acid in it will dissolve the build up on them. You don’t have to rinse them, and they can be air-dried as that allows the smell of the vinegar to dissipate.

It that does not work, wash them in a solution of two parts baking soda to four parts water then rinse and dry them with a lint-free towel or a microfibre cloth before drinking out of them again. (Readers Digest)
