Is there any truth to the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt romance rumour?
(FilmiBeat) Just when we thought Ranbir Kapoor’s affair rumours with Mahira Khan had died down, there is talk about his growing closeness with Alia Bhatt and everyone is wondering if there is actually brewing something between them. To add fuel to the fire, Manish Malhotra recently made a juicy statement at a chat show that Ranbir and Alia should hook up in 2018 and their fans went crazy.
Now, as reported by Midday, Alia already has a beau – Kavin Mittal, the founder of a popular messaging application. The duo met during the World Economic Forum in October 2017.
A source also informed the tabloid, “They want to take time to let their friendship evolve. Given their commitments, they see little of each other. But it’s certainly a friendship that can go a long way.” Alia was never spotted with him, the source said, because, “They don’t want to make a public statement yet.”
On the other side, an insider has revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “Alia’s presence has kind of rattled Ranbir. She is just getting over heartbreak with Sidharth Malhotra and in a very vulnerable emotional state. There is definitely a friendship brewing between them.”
On the professional front, Alia and Ranbir are all set to commence the shooting of their upcoming film, Brahmastra. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
