An advertisement appearing in yesterday’s edition of this newspaper listed McDonald; former Deputy Crime Chief, Harley Davidson; Eon Sandy, last known to be stationed at the Supreme Court, Police Outpost; Alwyn Wilson, last known to be stationed at `E’ and `F’ Division, Headquarters, Eve Leary; Terrence Semple, last known to be stationed at Mahdia Police Station, Bartica, Essequibo Coast; Courtney Ramsey, last known to be stationed at Criminal Investigation Department, Police Headquarters, Eve Leary; Desmond Leitch, last known to be stationed at the Criminal Investigation Department, Police Headquarters, Eve Leary, Constable Fraser, Reg # 10881 and ex-detective sergeant Carl Wilson, as those being sought.

According to the urgent public notice, those listed are being asked to make contact with the Chambers at Lot 95 Carmichael Street, South Cummingsburg to “give a detailed account in the matter Ronald Khan v the Attorney General for judicial purposes”.

The advertisement is in the name of the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Legal Affairs and Attorney General’s Chambers.

Attempts to contact AG Basil Williams SC for comment were unsuccessful. This newspaper could also find no record of this case.

Several law enforcement officials raised concerns over the advertisement and questioned whether enough effort was made to contact those listed. McDonald was singled out as one person who ought to be easy to contact given that he is the Chairman of the New Building Society (NBS), a financial institution located in the heart of the city. McDonald was unavailable for comment yesterday.
