Hello Boys and Girls, Have you been doing lots of revision regularly in preparation for your Annual Examinations? Be reminded that success does not come from what you do sometimes or once in a while; it comes from what you do consistently.

Let us look at the general awards in the Order of Service. What are they? Yes, they are the Cacique Crown of Honour, the Golden Arrow of Achievement and the Medal of Service. What did you find out about them? 1. The Cacique Crown of Honour (C.C.H.)

The Golden Arrow of Achievement (A.A.) This award may be presented to any citizen or group for being consistent in giving long and dedicated high quality of service in a responsible office. The award is limited to seventy five living Guyanese.

This is the highest award in the Order of Service. It is awarded for the highest acts of bravery involving great danger and serious risk to life.

(ii) The Golden Arrow of Courage (A.C.) This is the second highest award for bravery and it is the third highest award in the Order of Service. It is awarded for bravery of a lesser degree of danger and risks to life.

This award is given for lesser acts of bravery, but still merits acknowledgement by the government. The recipient of this award receives a small Guyana leaf in gold instead of a medal.

We shall continue next week with other awards within the Order of Service.

Goodbye, have a great week!
