Well, many people see these two as a single continent, which they call Eurasia. Others see North America and South America as one continent and call it the Americas; but you must always remember that there are seven continents on earth. Now let us list the continents by size, from the largest to the smallest. 1. Asia 2. Africa 3. North America 4. South America 5. Antarctica 6. Europe 7. Australia

Let us learn about each continent. ● Asia, which is the largest and most populated continent in the world, has a population of about 4.3 billion. China and India, two of the highest populated countries in the world belong to Asia. This continent is made up of 50 countries. Tokyo, Seoul, Delhi, Jakarta and Shanghai are some cities in Asia.

● Africa, the second largest continent in the world, also has the second highest population in the world. On this continent there are 54 countries, with more than 1.1 billion people living there. About a quarter of this continent is occupied by the largest hot desert in the world – the Sahara. The longest river in the world, the Nile, is also on this continent.

● North America is the third largest continent in the world. It is comprised of 23 countries; Canada being the largest, and St Kitts and Nevis, in the Caribbean, the smallest.

● South America, a continent comprised of 13 countries, is the fourth largest in size and the fifth largest in population. Spanish or Portuguese is the primary language spoken in much of South America; with Guyana being
