Atlantis comes alive Central Mall resta

-

The Atlantis Cuisine restaurant at the West Central Mall, located at Groenveldt, Leonora, West Coast Demerara was declared open during a cocktail event on Tuesday evening.

British High Commissioner to Guyana, Jane Miller, assisted managing director, Bhabita Albert to cut the ribbon to officially declare the fine dining restaurant open.

Themed ‘Under the Sea,’ Atlantis Cuisine opened to the public on Friday, September 15 at 11 am.

Albert welcomed everyone to the family-owned business, which emerged from many ideas and discussions within her immediate family. Their goal was to bring their international travel experiences, to home.

In explaining the restaurant’s theme, she pointed out that it depicted the lost city of Atlantis.

“Our tribute to such an amazing city, lies within our decor, where you feel as if you’re under the sea. We also included the amazing sea creatures, such as the turtles, octopuses and sting rays for the little ones. Our menu was inspired by the different cultures of the world, where we included two dishes from every continent.”

They cater for every individual and their beliefs, including halal and vegetarian, as well as their delicious mocktails,

cocktails and signature drinks.

Guests were treated to delicious finger food like tostones, steak bites, popcorn shrimp, Atlantis fish bites, cheese quesadilla, tempura-battered veggies, garlic parmesan wings, crispy calamari as well as drinks.

“We aim at providing the highest standards service that is unique for everyone to enjoy,” she stated.
