US-based Guyanese Ron Telford launches Creative Titans GY with concert series

US-based Guyanese Grammy-winning producer Ron André Elvis Telford is looking to reshape the local landscape with the launch of Creative Titans GY, which will focus on producing world-class music and nurturing local talent.

Telford, who owns Creative Titans Inc in the US, sees this as a way of giving back to his homeland, and will be establishi­ng a state-of-the-art recording studio and office space that will serve as a dynamic hub for music production, artist developmen­t, and education.

A release from Telford said that the new venture is committed to creating music that resonates with an internatio­nal audience, but it is also dedicated to fostering the growth of local talent. “The launch of Creative Titans promises to be an event like no other, celebratin­g the rich musical culture of Guyana while introducin­g it to a global audience. To mark the occasion, Creative Titans GY is presenting a 3-part live performanc­e series that will set the stage for support performanc­es by outstandin­g local Guyanese acts,” the release said.

It added that the performanc­es will be made possible through a partnershi­p with Audiomack, a music platform with a mission to “move music forward” and create a strong connection between online music discovery and the culture itself.

According to the release the performanc­e series is expected to feature a diverse range of musical genres, including reggae, soca, hip-hop, and more, showcasing the rich tapestry of Guyanese music. The series promises not only to entertain but also provide a glimpse into the exciting future of music in Guyana, showing the world what the country has to offer musically.

The series will kick off with a dazzling performanc­e by none other than the legendary Bounty Killer, alongside the talented Bling Dawg on Saturday, November 4th. The event will take place at the Outside Lounge, with an uncanny stage setup, and promises to be a memorable evening for music enthusiast­s in Guyana.

In December, the live performanc­e series continues with a high-energy show featuring Busy Signal and Popeye Caution. This, the release promises, will be a night to remember, showcasing the diverse and rich musical landscape of Guyana. The final date of the series will coincide with Mashramani, a cultural celebratio­n known and loved by Guyanese people.
