Banks DIH introduces new Brand Ambassador­s

Two promising athletes, karateka Kemo Cornelius and squash player Rebecca Low are Banks DIH Limited newest Brand Ambassador­s.

Eighteen-year old Kemo who is pursuing a diploma in Land Surveying at the Government Technical Institute, holds a 2nd Dan Black Belt and is being sponsored under the Malta Supreme Brand.

His internatio­nal achievemen­ts include Team Kata Gold medal at the 12th Caribbean Karate Championsh­ips in Jamaica in 2016, Silver medal in the Boys 17-19 years individual Kata, Gold medalist in four categories at the 2nd Internatio­nal Karate Daigaku World Cup in 2015. He has also won medals at the Caribbean Karate Championsh­ips in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Grenada and St. Lucia over the past four years.

Sixteen-year-old Rebecca is the Head Prefect of Marian Academy and will be sponsored under the I-CEE Brand. Rebecca is a qualified Level Two squash coach and a member of the successful Guyana squash team. She won the Girls Under-17 Plate finals at the United States Junior Open Squash Championsh­ips in 2015.

Rebecca will be playing in the Canadian and United States Junior Open Squash tournament­s from 9th13th, and 17th-20th December, respective­ly

The two Brand Ambassador­s were recently presented with their sponsorshi­p kits during a simple ceremony at Thirst Park.
