Canter set afire
A canter was set afire yesterday morning in Blygezeight Gardens.
Stabroek News understands that at around 3 am, two men exited a car on Stone Avenue and went up to the vehicle GVV 2601 which was parked on the parapet of Upper David Street. One of them was seen hurling an object at the canter and moments later the vehicle burst into flames.
The owner, who declined to speak when approached, and neighbours attempted to put out the fire and were later assisted by the Guyana Fire Service.
Police are investigating the matter.
