The Civil Defence Commission ( CDC) yesterday opened a five-day training programme for Ensigns of the Guyana Defence Force at its Timehri Storage Facility. The “Introduction To Disaster Risk Management Course” aims at equipping the participants with basic knowledge on disaster preparedness, response, mitigation and recovery.
The course will conclude on Friday September 11, 2020.
