Important: It is each delegate’s responsibility to duly complete his/her online registration, indicating all necessary information. Mike Singh, President of the GABF during an invited comment said, “The need is to continue the governance of the federation, ensuring that all associations even though there is dormancy are still regulating and staying on top of certain things. Also speaking with the Minister of Sport, they want to see structure, governance and administration. With all of that we are coming up on year two

and what we are looking at is to have structures and protocols in place for when the sport resumes inclusive of YBG and put them in place.”

He added, “We are also looking at creating a national database for players and this can identify any player who could be susceptible to the disease and they will not be allowed on the court when we resume. There will be protocols like medicals and if we have a player who is, for example diabetic, we won’t allow him or her to be on the court. The last thing any sport administrator wants is for someone to die because they were involved in the sport.”
