Chateau Margot man wins GTT’s Smart Home makeover

A Chateau Margot resident can now digitally control and monitor his home and assorted appliances, and even engage in online studies thanks to winning GTT’s Smart Home makeover.

The telephone company stated in a press release yesterday that James Jhingree is the grand prize winner. He will benefit from a package inclusive of three months of free Blaze (powered by Plume HomePass) Internet Service, a brand new Smart Washing Machine, a Samsung 58’’ TV, a Google Home Smart Talk, a Smart Doorbell, a Smart Wireless Pan, Tilt and Zoom Camera, two Amazon tablets and two cell phones.

Romario Chung emerged as the first prize winner and Marcia Sandy copped the second prize.

Jhingree will now be able to control his home appliances and devices remotely, using a mobile or other networked platform. Chung received three months of free internet service, a Samsung 55” TV, a Google

Home Smart Talk, an Amazon tablet and two cellular phones. Sandy’s second prize consisted of a Smart Wireless Pan, Tilt and Zoom Camera, two Amazon tablets, two cellular phones and three months of free internet service.

“I am most excited about these prizes since it means the complete transforma­tion and modernizat­ion of my home,” an elated Jhingree stated. Chung said that this win would help with his education. “Studying online can be difficult at times – the items that I won will help to enhance this experience, thanks to GTT,” Chung noted.

The release noted that GTT customers who applied for Blaze during the holiday period, were eligible to enter the year-end competitio­n. Winners were announced and the prizes were distribute­d to the winners yesterday during a ceremony at GTT’s head office, the release added.
