Honduras, is right in the heart of America and that is how it feels, full of life and grandeur. It is impossible to talk about Honduras and not to mention the warmth, kindness and humility of its people, who day by day work to make this nation even greater. Usually when talking about Honduras, The Bay Islands, always stand out, with their paradisiacal beaches full of white sand and turquoise blue water, surrounded by coral reefs that take your breath away, however, this five star country also has privileged forests and jungles. Honduras is also home of millenarian cultures and owner of a unique past that has forged every step of the Hondurans, in fact the department of Copán with all its magnificent cities is a perfect example of this mixture. Copán Ruinas gives u sa complete approach to the majestic and splendid Mayan culture, with its ruins full of millenary legends and traditions; Santa Rosa de Copán on the other hand, whispers the stories of the colonial era through its buildings, churches and cobblestone streets. The department of Intibucá and its colorful looms transport us to the mysticism of the Lenca people. The city of La Ceiba and The Yojoa Lake encourage us to travel and explore their forests, mountains and jungles, which become perfect hiding places to disconnect from the world and breathe fresh air. It is not possible to describe all the magnificence of Honduras with just words, so to know it we invite you to visit it. To date, the birthplace of Francisco Morazán has five touristic districts that we are sure you will want to visit, starting with La Joya de los Lagos, followed by La Ruta del Sol, then La Ruta Lenca-maya, La Ruta del Delfín and last La Ruta de los Valles y Montañas, it doesn’t matter which one you start with or if you only visit one, we are completely sure that every single one of them will make your heart beat strongly full of emotion. Welcome to the Honduras, the country you’ve always wanted to know!
