AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC 1
Station: Downtown Long Beach
The Aquarium of the Pacific houses 500 species of sea animal, drawing around 1.5 million visitors annually. While in Long Beach, you can also visit the Queen Mary, an ocean liner that has been docked nearby since she retired in 1967.
ANGELS FLIGHT FUNICULAR 2
Station: Pershing Square
Built in 1901 and recently reopened, the so-called World’s Shortest Railway runs just 90 metres from Grand Central Market in LA’s city centre to the top of Bunker Hill.
LANGER’S DELICATESSEN 3
Station: MacArthur Park
Open since 1947 on the corner of MacArthur Park in the Westlake district, Langer’s was on the verge of going out of business before the Red Line opened in 1993. Since then, it’s been rejuvenated by diners making the short (five-stop) train ride from central LA.
SANTA MONICA PIER 4
Station: Downtown Santa Monica One of the last amusement piers in Southern California, this iconic location features food stalls, a video arcade, the small but wonderful Santa Monica Pier Aquarium and an amusement park with a vintage 1920s carousel.
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD 5
Station: Universal City/Studio City One of the oldest studio lots in Southern California, Universal began offering tours in 1964 and opened its first theme park attraction the following year. Now, it is a fully-fledged amusement park, with rides based on popular films such as the Harry Potter franchise and TV shows like The Simpsons, and the outdoor Citywalk mall.
WATTS TOWERS 6
Station: 103rd Street/ Watts Towers One of Los Angeles’ most iconic landmarks, the Watts Towers were constructed by local homeowner Simon Rodia on his property. After Rodia completed the towers, he left Los Angeles but the towers – constructed out of concrete and found objects (tiles, bottle caps, porcelain) – continue to stand over the neighbourhood.
THE WILTERN 7
Station: Wilshire/Western
Opened in 1931, The Wiltern theatre is one of the art deco jewels of Los Angeles, a blue-green terracotta-tiled building angling back from the southeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue in Koreatown. It’s a prime venue for live music, but also worth visiting as an architectural masterpiece.

Aquarium of the Pacific水族館內有500種海洋生物,每年吸引約150萬名訪客。遊人更可參觀同樣位於長灘的瑪麗王后號郵輪。這艘豪華輪船於1967年退役後,即停泊在附近的碼頭。

這條建於1901年的纜車線號稱「全球最短的鐵路」,全長只有90米,於最近重新啟用,往來洛杉磯市中心的Grand Central Market市集和Bunker Hill山的山頂。
3 LANGER’S DELICATESSEN餐廳
車站: MacArthur Park
於1947年開業的Langer’s位於洛杉磯Westlake區內MacArthur Park的一隅,在Red Line線於1993年開通前一度瀕臨倒閉。自鐵路服務開通後,顧客只需從市中心乘一程短途地鐵(五個站) 即可大快朵頤,令餐廳業務再次回復生機。
4 SANTA MONICA PIER碼頭
車站: Downtown Santa Monica這個經典地標是南加州僅存的其中一個碼頭遊樂場,裡面有熟食攤檔、一個遊戲機中心,以及小巧但趣味盎然的Santa Monica Pier Aquarium水族館,還有一個擁有1920年代古董旋轉木馬的遊樂場。
荷李活環球影城5
車站: Universal City/Studio City環球影城是南加州其中一個歷史最悠久的片場,自1964年開始為公眾提供導賞團,並於翌年開辦首個主題公園。現時,環球影城已是設備齊全的主題樂園,擁有大量以賣座電影(如《哈利波特》系列)和電視節目(如《阿森一族》)為題的機動遊戲,以及露天的Citywalk購物商場。
WATTS TOWERS塔群6
車站: 103rd Street/ Watts Towers
Watts Towers塔群是洛杉磯其中一個最有代表性的地標,由當地人Simon Rodia於自己的物業上建造。Rodia完成其作品後已遷離加州,但由他以水泥和拾荒所得的瓦片、樽蓋和瓷器建成的幾座高塔依然屹立於區內。
THE WILTERN劇院7
車站: Wilshire/Western
The Wiltern劇院於1931年開幕,以藍綠色泥塑瓦片裝飾外牆,是洛杉磯其中一幢美輪美奐的裝飾藝術建築,位於Koreatown的Wilshire Boulevard大道東南角,與Western Avenue大街交界。這裡是城中首屈一指的音樂會場地,但建築物本身也非常值得參觀。
