THE FIRST TIME I landed in Miami was on a very short visit in 2011 – I was instantly impressed by this super slick, sun-kissed city. It’s hip in every way possible – from the people to the buildings – plus the sea is bath-like warm. But it wasn’t until the following year that I fell in love with it.
Areas like Little Havana and Wynwood are effortlessly cool – but it’s South Beach, with its art deco buildings, glistening stretches of beach with turquoise water and Ocean Drive that grabbed me.
For me, life is about energy; something that South Beach has in abundance. There’s a cool vibe about the place that instantly hits you. There’s an insatiable, carnival-like atmosphere. Somebody once told me that it’s people that make the place – and nowhere is that more true than in Miami.
I was in Miami to perform at the Ultra Music Festival. The festival takes place right in the city centre, and the location is as breathtaking as the festival’s line-up. For me, it remains one of the best and most incredible festival experiences in the world; and that’s partly because of Miami itself. Since that first trip, I’ve played Ultra’s main stage each year.
No city in America can rival the party vibe of Miami at night, when that cool breeze runs all over the city – there really is nowhere else like it.

小夏灣拿與溫伍德等區本來就有型有格，但南灘內林立的裝飾藝術風格建築，長長的海灘伴著陽光閃耀的青藍色海水，還有Ocean Drive大道，卻將我深深吸引住。
我喜歡活力充沛的地方，而南灘正是一個這樣的地方。這裡散發一種有型有格的氣息，馬上就將人吸引住。這是一種永不滿足、有如嘉年華般的氣氛。有人曾經對我說，是人造就出一個地方的特色；對邁阿密來說，這句話再真實不過。
我前往邁阿密是為了在Ultra Music Festival音樂節內演出。音樂節在市中心舉行，這個地點就跟音樂節的節目一樣，令人歎為觀止。對我來說，這個音樂節的體驗堪稱全球數一數二，而邁阿密是構成這種體驗的一部分。自從這趟首次旅程之後，我每年都在這個音樂節的主舞台演出。
邁阿密到了晚上洋溢著歡樂的派對氣氛，全美國沒有一個城市可與之匹敵；當清涼的微風拂遍城中，那種感受真是無可比擬。
