• Singapore Airlines offers special return fares, covering the destinatio­ns of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin. Passengers who book the ticket before April 18 and depart from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, Changsha and Kunming can enjoy a return ticket price as low as 4,500 yuan ($742).

• British Airways offers travelers from China amazing return fares to London and selected UK destinatio­ns from as low as 2,880 yuan ($475). The fares are only available for sale at Ba.com from now until March 10 and are valid for travel between Feb 11 and June 30.

• Air China launched the firstever nonstop service between Beijing and Honolulu early this year, after receiving approvals from Chinese and US regulatory agencies. The new service will operate three times each week using A330-200 aircraft, according to the airline. It will allow Chinese visitors to access the airline’s extensive network, serving the Hawaiian Islands and US mainland, it said. Hawaii has become an increasing­ly popular destinatio­n for Chinese visitors in recent years. In 2012, the number of Chinese tourists who visited the archipelag­o increased 64 percent year on year.
