Qenos, an Australian manufacturer and supplier of polyethylene plastics and specialty polymers, and France-headquartered
Adisseo, one of the global leaders in animal nutrition solutions.
2007
ChemChina took over Bluestar
Silicones in France, a leading supplier of organic silicone and sulphide.
2008
Blackstone Group in the United States bought a stake in Bluestar, and became a strategic partner of ChemChina.
2011
ChemChina acquired Israel-based Adama, a leading off-patent crop protection solutions company, and bought the Norwegian silicon business of Elkem.
2013
ChemChina (Singapore) Pte Ltd was established and a petroleum trade platform was built.
2015
ChemChina DMCC in Dubai and ChemChina UK
Limited petrol trade platforms were established. The company acquired a majority share of
Pirelli, and acquired Norway-based REC Solar.
2016
ChemChina bought a stake in Swiss energy and commodities trader Mercuria, and acquired Germanybased KraussMaffei, a leading manufacturer of systems for plastic and rubber production and processing.
