Manager Claudio Ranieri said his stricken Leicester City Foxes must stop hemorrhaging afterSunday’s2-0lossatSwansea City left the reigning Premier League champion one point above the relegation zone.

Swansea defenders Alfie Mawson and Martin Olsson struck in the first half at Liberty Stadium to condemn Leicester to a fifth straight loss and 14th of the campaign.

The Foxes have gone six league games without scoring and Ranieri knows something must change if their title success is not to be followed by an ignominious demotion.

“I wanted the start of a ‘new season’ today, but it is the same. It is unbelievable,” said the Italian, whose side has 13 matches left.

“We started well, but their first two shots on goal are goals. It is very difficult to come back from that.

“This season is unbelievable. We’vetwoproblems:conceding goals and not scoring.

“We have to speak together to find the solutions. It is not Claudio Ranieri, on Leicester City’s miserable run possible way.”

Ranieri was backed by Leicester’s Thai owners King Power prior to Sunday’s game in Wales, and while he conceded Swansea showed more appetite for battle, he believes his team is out of luck at the moment.

“The machine is not broken, but when you don’t play at a maximum level, it is a difficult battle,” said Ranieri.

“They were more determined than us, that’s the truth. We stay together. We to continue in this work very well in training, but we need a little luck to move our confidence. I am very strong, very confident. I believe in everything.

“It just takes the right moment to turn this around.”

Ranieri is facing mounting speculation about his future, but Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater said the squad is firmly behind the 65-yearold Italian.

“It’s down to us on the pitch what happens. The manager has our support and we have his support,” Drinkwater told Sky Sports. “It’s about time we showed that belief and pushed ourselves.”

Ranieri, meanwhile, hinted that he had kept too much faith in last season’s title heroes and would shake up his starting XI.

Leicester visits third-tier Millwall in the FA Cup this weekend before traveling to Sevilla for the first leg of its Champions League last-16 tie the following Wednesday.

It is not in league action again until the visit of Liverpool on Feb 27.

Meanwhile, Swansea continues its revival under new boss Paul Clement, moving four points clear of the drop zone.

I am very strong, very confident. I believe in everything. It just takes the right moment to turn this round.”
