As the popular soap opera Ode to Joy has swept the country, some of its filming locations have also risen to fame: the Primus Hotel and the Primus Residence Shanghai Hongqiao, both of which are scheduled to open on Saturday, and the Qube Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao, which will be unveiled in October.

The upscale complex in Shanghai is connected to nine office buildings, several shopping malls and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) via a sky bridge.

“Connectivity will be a major competence and our hotel will outstrip single-complex brand chain hotels, while Primus is just a fiveyear brand,” said Arno Nicolussi Moretto, general manager of the new hospitality complex, consisting of two luxury hotels and one residential complex.

“We are creating moments and feelings, and the hotel cluster is growing with our brand,” Moretto said.

The new hotel complex, owned by Greenland International Hotels Group, stands amid the buzzing traffic noise and blinding city lights and is designed to provide a shelter from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The Qube Hotel will feature approximately 300 guestrooms, decorated with environmentally friendly holographic materials to echo the company’s name, Greenland, and its implied social responsibility, according to the hotel.

The first thing to welcome guests after their travels will be the fresh air, thanks to the hotel’s advanced air purification system installed in each room, while the top-quality bedding will make guests feel like they are lying on a pile of clouds, its staff said.

The hotel also provides a wide variety of amenities, from a 24/7 fitness center to a multifunctional conference hall with multimedia facilities.

The advanced conference consultants in Qube will bring hospitality to a higher level and provide customized planning and event solutions for their guests.

The Primus Hotel focuses on the luxury travel experience and every room is equipped with a coffee machine and stereo set and is decorated in an elegant color combination of blue and gold.

For those who want a homelike experience during their travels, the Primus Residence will be a better option, as its rooms are designed to be modern and cozy, with a kitchen and home audio and video system.

The residence will also have a library and a common room, where guests can read, relax and socialize with their neighbors just like in their own community.
