Media forum to bring youth together
The 2nd China-Russia Internet Media Forum and China-Russia Youth Innovation Union will be held in less than a month in Rostov-onDon, Russia.
The event, which will start on Sept 24, is one of the most important events during the China-Russian Media Exchange year.
Young participants from China and Russia are also ready to enter the Media Innovation Camp in the Russian city.
The first such forum, supported by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of China and the Russian Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, was held in Guangdong province in 2016.
The China-Russian Media Innovation Camp is the first camp that selects representatives of both Chinese and Russian elite youngsters.
The eight-day camp’s activities, which include academic exchanges, cultural experiences and other activities, will be held in Don State Technical University.
The Chinese delegation will arrive at Rostov-on-Don on Sept 15, and will talk with Russian university students about the online media forum. Chinese and Russian camp members will jointly produce a video clip about the media forum, which will be screened at the opening ceremony.
The theme for this year’s talk is the importance of public access to information in promoting sustainable development.
Another highlight of this activity is the Sino-Russian electronic sports show, demonstrating the competitive and cooperative features in online media.
