Blecharczy­k rises to chairman of Airbnb

Airbnb China has named Nathan Blecharczy­k, its co-founder and chief strategy officer, as new chairman last month. He will visit China once a month to give guidance to about 100 employees in Beijing and Shanghai. Ge Hong, former regional leader for Airbnb, resigned last month after being in the post for four months. Blecharczy­k said the company continues to face many challenges in the Chinese market and sees much scope for growth and localizati­on. Huang leaves Wanda, joins Future Land

Huang Chunlei, assistant president of China’s property giant Dalian Wanda Group, was appointed vice-president of Future Land, a real estate company. He will lead the establishm­ent of informatio­n and industry news network for the residentia­l property market. Before joining Wanda, he worked for the enterprise consultanc­y department of Microsoft China and major server maker Inspur Group. Future Land also hired two other Wanda executives. Chen Deli, formerly with Wanda’s commercial management, and Tang Jianfeng, formerly with Wanda’s general management unit, will operate a new unit of Future Land. manager of the securities department of Industrial Bank Co Ltd. Zhang Haimin quits Yango after seven years

Zhang Haimin, president of real estate developer Yango Holdings Group, resigned earlier this month. He joined the group in 2010 as vicepresid­ent, helping increase its sales tenfold. When promoted to president in 2015, he announced a five-year plan with focus on mergers and acquisitio­ns in first- and second-tier cities, to compete better for the limited land resources. Zhu Rongbin, new executive chairman of Yango, said M&As did bring some good projects but slowed down the overall pace of the company’s growth. Lu to stand in till Vitasoy names Yuan’s successor

Vitasoy Internatio­nal Holdings Ltd, a Hong Kongbased major soymilk producer, said Yuan Jie, its general manager for the Greater China area, has resigned for personal and career-related reasons. Lu Botao, administra­tive manager, will lead the business in the Chinese mainland until a replacemen­t for Yuan is named. Yuan said in August that the mainland has become the biggest market for Vitasoy with double-digit growth in the last few years.
