Shilin racers face challenging climb
The inaugural China Qiandao Lake Fantasy Stone Forest Ascent Half Marathon will be held on Nov 19 in Shilin township of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
The 21-km race, with an altitude increase of 1,000 meters, is one of the major sporting events covered by the strategic partnership between Beijing Sanfo Outdoor Co Ltd and Shilin township, which was signed last week in the capital.
Sanfo, one of China’s leading outdoor specialty retailers, will help Shilin, one of China’s 96 sports-themed townships sanctioned by the State General Administration of Sports, in organizing and hosting a series of events. cheering for (Feng). Authorities have shut dozens of golf courses — many of them illegal — and curbed new construction.
At the same time, the number of pro tournaments in China has increased.
The LPGA Tour heads back to the United States this week for the CME Group Tour Championship in Florida, the final event on the 2017 tour calendar.
