What they say
The forum was very informative and helpful. The topics of the parallel forums were all interesting for me. I really valued the speeches of the other speakers, especially the topics about traditional Chinese medicine. I am looking for partners for our global STEM project, which aims to expand and deepen the diversity of pipelines in global sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics. Zhuhai is an attractive city and the seaside view is similar to the Californian bays where I live. I have really enjoyed my stay here. Lorraine Hariton, senior vice-president of global partnerships at the New York Academy of Sciences
It’s amazing to be able to join the forum. The Belt and Road Initiative is such a great idea that provides rich opportunities to the countries involved, including Germany. I think it is creating a second phase of globalization. This is my first time visiting the Chinese mainland and Zhuhai is a vivid, lively and vibrant city. The forum has been held in the right place. Marco Daehn, program manager at the Executive Education Center, School of Management at the Technical University of Munich
China is the second-largest trade partner of Alberta and we attract 70 percent of China’s investment in Canada. We are looking for further cooperation in the sectors of trade, energy and environmental technologies, infrastructure and logistics. I am currently working in Hong Kong and have been to Shenzhen, Zhongshan and Foshan before. This is my first time in Zhuhai and I think I will come more often in the future.
