Li Jing (pictured), 27, better known as Li Jiaoshou (“call the beast” in Chinese), a social media influencer and the youngest vice-president of internet giant Baidu Inc, is leaving his job, he said. Li said Baidu has given him a good platform and great support in creative development and applications of information technology. In 2016, Li sold his information technology firm, which was specializing in marketing, to Baidu for nearly 100 million yuan ($15.9 million), and became the latter’s vice-president in charge of advertising and creative development.
Linekong Interactive Group appointed Chen Hao as CEO of its game unit, and Yan Yusong, who is also known as Wang Jin, as CEO of its film division. Both Chen and Yan will report to the group’s CEO Wang Feng and president Liao Mingxiang. Chen joined the group in 2010 as the product manager, and was appointed general manager of games since 2016. Linekong released multiple mobile games during his tenure. Yan joined the group in 2016 as the group’s vice-president, and serve as the president of its film sector, covering development, production, marketing and distribution.
Lai Xiaomin, chairman of China Huarong Asset Management Co Ltd, resigned on April 17. On the same day, China’s supervising commission announced on its website ccdi.gov.cn that Lai was under its investigation for alleged illegal decisions. Huarong’s board of directors plan to appoint Wang Zhanfeng as the next chairman and Li Xin as president. Huarong is one of the four major State-owned asset management companies. The other three — China Orient Asset Management Co Ltd, China Cinda Asset Management Co Ltd, and China Great Wall Asset Management Co Ltd — also reshuffled their management teams in the recent past.

Medical care company Cellenkos Inc has appointed Alick Sun as senior vice-president of corporate affairs and business development. Simrit Parmar, chief medical officer of Cellenkos Inc, said Sun’s experience in strategic planning and business development will help the company achieve long-term growth. Sun is currently vice-president of Hong Kong-based healthcare company Golden Meditech Holdings Ltd, a major shareholder of Cellenkos.
