NEW ARRIVALS
Ford is showcasing a star lineup of models at the China International Import Expo. Here are some you should not miss:
All-new Mustang
The all-new Mustang has a sleeker and sportier look with its lowered hood and is available in 11 colors. The new 10-speed automatic transmission enables quicker shifting, enhanced performance and greater fuel efficiency than previous models. And for the first time in China, the MagneRide™ damping system is available on both 2.3-liter EcoBoost models and 5.0-liter V8 models for optimal handling. There are five selectable drive modes that customize the driving experience for every driver. Of them, the new Drag Strip mode helps the Mustang GT go from 0 to 60 mph (96km/h) in less than four seconds.
F-150 Raptor
The F-150 Raptor, which was introduced into China in 2017, is the toughest and most powerful pickup Ford has ever built. It features an exclusive high-output version of the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine mated with a Ford-built 10-speed automatic transmission. Imported as a four-door SuperCrew model, the vehicle leverages the latest advanced technologies, including a militarygrade, high-strength, aluminum-alloy cab, while its muscular body is uniquely composite. Equipped with an advanced six-mode Terrain Management System including Baja 1000, the F-150 Raptor is engineered to meet the needs of the most demanding owners.
Ranger Wildtrak
The aggressive, distinctive exterior and striking stylish interior help differentiate the Ranger Wildtrak among off-road pickup trucks with a premium sporty feel. Its 3.2-liter five-cylinder TDCi engine produces 470 Nm of torque and 147 kW power with a 3500 kg towing capability. Its class-leading 800 mm water-wading capability and a 210 mm ground clearance ensure the Ranger Wildtrak is up for any adventure. The latest incar connectivity system SYNC 3, Cruise Control, LIM, Front and Rear park Assist are among the features that will help drivers stay connected and in control. The Ranger Wildtrak hit the Chinese market in June 2018.
Ford Explorer
Ford Explorer has stood for a premium and adventurous lifestyle since its launch in China in 2013. The model is available in five variants with two powertrain offerings (2.3L EcoBoost & 3.5L EcoBoost) in the country. The new Explorer comes equipped with intelligent four-wheel drive with Terrain Management System, which assesses road conditions about 20 times faster than the blink of an eye and seamlessly transfers torque between the front and rear wheels as needed for precise handling and traction. Ford Explorer has been the best-selling SUV over the last 30 years in North America, with more than 8 million sold globally.
