5大步驟ﾠ無痛用英文寫請假信
無論是寫英文請假或辭職信時，需要清楚地表達原因和提供幫助的意願，以展現對工作和同事的責任感和禮貌。今期筆者先說明寫請假英文信的技巧，下期續談寫辭職信的技巧。
你知道老闆或上級，最討厭下屬請假的方式有哪幾種嗎？ （一）突然請假：突然請假可能會對公司和同事造成困擾和不便，或影響公司的運作；
（二）不清楚的原因或解釋：在請假信中，應該清楚地說明原因，以便上級和同事了解你的情況和決定。如果沒有足夠的解釋，可能會讓人感到困惑和不確定；
（三）沒有遵守公司規定和程序：在請假前，應該仔細閱讀公司的政策和程序。如果有規定需要遵守，應在信中提及，以確保閣下的請假程序能夠順利進行；
（四）沒有表達感謝之情：對於公司和同事，應該表達體諒和感謝之意，這會顯示出尊重和禮貌，也有助於保持良好的職場關係。
筆者希望在給予示範前，能從基本結構及原因說明，如何正確寫出請假信。
筆者建議寫英文請假信，一般需要具備以下五個步驟。步驟一：首先，宜在信中表明寫信的目的。例子：「 I am writing to request a leave of absence from work」；或「I am writing to inform you that I will be taking a leave of absence from
work. 」步驟二：提供時間和日期或生效的日期。
例子：「 I will need to take a leave of absence from work starting on Monday, June 21st and ending on Wednesday, June 23rd. 」
步驟三：說明請假原因。在信中需要清楚地說明請假原因，例如因健康問題、家庭原因或須
處理個人事務等。
例子：「 I have a family emergency that requires
my immediate attention 」；或「 I have a medical
appointment that I cannot reschedule. 」
宜表達感激之情
步驟四：表達感謝表達感激之情，並表達願意提供幫助，以確保工作順暢進行。
例子：「 Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.」；或「 Please let me know if there is anything I can do before I leave to ensure a smooth transition. 」步驟五：結束信函。例子：「 Thank you for your attention to
this matter 」；或「 I look forward to returning to work on Monday, June 28th. 」
請假信全文範例：
「 Dea（r Name of Manager）,
I am writing to request taking a leave of absence [start date] to [end date] due to [reason for leave]. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and I will do everything possible to ensure colleagues who will take over my work during the said time are well informed of what they need to do and follow up on .
Please inform me if there is any documentation or procedure I must complete to formalise my request. Thank you for your understanding.
