Bringing long distances and smiles to golfers

-

PRGR’S origins in the golf equipment business dates back to 1983, and the company takes pride in being the purveyors of the ‘Head Speed Theory’ that has defined the golf swing since. And in 2003 PRGR was the first company to produce a composite driver (carbon & titanium), a technology derived from their extensive R&D. PRGR continues to bring innovation in golf technology as seen in their new Super EGG range of equipment, a non-conforming series for average golfers who want effortless forgiveness and maximum distance from their golf clubs.

Super egg Driver

PRGR’S new generation highrepulsion driver, that boasts a high coefficient of repulsion (exceeding 0.85) and wide highrepulsion area on the clubface. The Super egg power flange structure is used on the crown to minimize deformation by concentrating flexing on the clubface for maximum rebound speed. The high-strength beta-titanium face has been trimmed to the limit, and with a smooth thickness deviation design, both high-repulsion performance and durability have been accomplished. As a result of

reducing the body thickness to the limit, weight is concentrated at the back of the clubhead. This has created a centre of gravity that is low and deep within the clubhead for high low spinning drives. The shaft of the driver features increased rigidity around the grip for a solid feel in spite of its lightweight properties. Nanoalloy technology is used around the tip to increase shock resistance and is matched with a grip developed especially for the new egg series of clubs.

Super egg Iron

The new Super egg irons, from the 5 iron to the pitching wedge, are high-repulsion clubs; this means that the player has the advantage of a higher initial velocity. The astonishing high repulsion, high initial velocity, and high trajectory makes it possible to hit 190 yards with a 7 iron. The 5 iron to the pitching wedge have a hollow structure with a high repulsion maraging clubface that has a face thickness of 1.9 mm resulting in a high coefficient of repulsion exceeding 0.83. The 5 and the 6 irons are utility shaped, which means that a player can easily hit long distances with these middle irons, without feeling any pressure. All egg irons have oversized heads, providing a sense of confidence to the player at address. Square grooved score lines (non-conforming) are used in the wedges (AW, AS, SW), for those drop and stop shots into the greens.
