CANON IS BINOCULARS
Canon’s latest 10×32 IS, 12×32 IS and 14×32 IS binoculars mark the latest additions to its range of medium aperture binoculars equipped with Image Stabilisation technology, derived from the technologies developed for Canon’s professional lenses. A first for Canon’s range of binoculars, the three models are equipped with Lens shift type IS and POWERED IS, designed for comfort during extended use. Also, to enable users to achieve excellent optical performance with edge-to-edge sharpness and high contrast viewing, the series is equipped with doublet field-flattener lenses and Super Spectra Coating. The Lens shift type IS mechanism on the 10×32 IS, 12×32 IS and 14×32 IS binoculars incorporates a vibration gyro mechanism which corrects the optical axis. This is done by shifting the IS lens to detect and minimise shake effects, which in turn sharpens image viewing. To counter image instability as a result of high magnification, body movements, and fatigue from lengthy observations, the POWERED IS function is set in place to facilitate extended periods of subject observations with optimum comfort. Designed for everyday use, these new Canon binoculars are both hardy and easy to operate. These binoculars are operated with AA batteries, as they are easily accessible, for more information visit www.canon.com. sg/personal/products/binoculars/binoculars.
