TECH:

Cleveland says 80% of golfers don’t have their eyes directly over the ball when putting, which leads to issues with alignment and not striking putts from the centre of the face. By raising (and highlighting) the sightline up to the height of a ball’s equator, designers say they’ve created the most accurate alignment aid ever.

WE SAY:

Cleveland’s new satin models for 2018 take the range to a whole new level. Our testers loved how the Cero’s cleverlydesigned head directs focus like a dart at the intended impact location. That really helps your concentration and increases confidence to hit the centre of the face on putts from long and short range. Essentially, the 2135 putters are just cast heads, but hats off to Cleveland’s engineers, who’ve created a real premium feel (thanks to the heavy milled face insert, polymer backer and oversized grip). Amazing. TOP GEAR VERDICT Groovy face tech is all the rage when it comes to putters, and it really can make a difference when it comes to distance control, particularly on long putts. It has a similar performing & feeling insert as more expensive models, plus a cracking head shape and a brilliant alignment aid.
