Ping’s new range of premium 100% CNC milled putters, Vault 2.0 is engineered to provide a tour-calibre touch thanks to their True Roll face tech and custom weighting system. Each head offers the ability to change headweight by +/- 15g thanks to the addition of new aluminium, steel or tungsten weights.

WE SAY:

We love these new models are available in three different finishes (stealth, copper and platinum) and offer the opportunity, thanks to the new sole weights, to tailor weight and feel to your own taste. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the milling, so much so it took our testers more than a second look to agree the subtle edges had all been produced by computer. The Piper is a super-simple mallet, with a narrow, small head. It wasn’t our favourite mallet head shape, mainly because of the half-mallet sizing, but that’s personal opinion. Roll, feel and feedback were all top drawer.

TOP GEAR VERDICT

Ping has put tons of work into making them better; the milling, colour and weight options are fantastic. In our opinion this is probably the least attractive, but that shouldn’t put you off looking at it or any other Vault model. They are all beautifully made and work well.
