Bang & Olufsen Earset
The design was driven by the idea to merge some of the great sound characteristics from the Bang & Olufsen speaker range with unprecedented comfort. The super flexible earphones that came out of this design exercise resulted in a product that was iconic in appearance and has inspired a lot of earphone designers since its launch. While the original Earset still sound amazing and have a fit that will satisfy even the most demanding customers, it is now time to revisit the icon to bring it up-to-date on a more technical matter. Since the 90s the world of music consumption has become wireless and now, so have Earset. For this relaunch, the classic has a totally new digital platform making it able to communicate wirelessly with your phone and letting you control vital features via the in-line remote. The original lines for the design were drawn by Anders Hermansen in the 90s, with a strong focus on the basic architecture of the arm, piston and earhook. The design is industrial in essence, originating in the needs of a product that should adapt to your ear. It's an example of how expert engineering and design go hand in hand to create an object that is as beautiful as it is useful. Aluminium surfaces emphasize the exclusive look of the product, while the natural qualities of the component ensure strength and scratch resistance. The dynamic full tone loudspeakers are constructed according to the open loudspeaker principle that lets through some environmental sounds. That way you will not be entirely cut off from the world when enjoying the pure sound of the earphones. www.beoplay.com/en/landingpages/earset
