-

Aston Martin Singapore was awarded Dealer of the Year 2017 for the Asia Pacific region, the announcement was made at the British marque's World Dealer Conference 2018 which took place in Edinburgh, United Kingdom on the 3rd of May this year. The conference saw representations from all Aston Martin dealers, including 18 from the Asia Pacific region. This result marks the second consecutive year that Aston Martin Singapore has won the award since acquiring the dealership in October 2015.

The Land Transport Authority of Singapore's 2017 Registration Statistics Report, released in January 2018, also shows that Aston Martin Singapore is the fastest growing marque in the luxury car segment in 2017, with year-on-year growth of 107%. These figures were driven by demand for the first new model launched under the brand's transformational Second Century Plan, the Aston Martin DB11 - the V8 engine variant has also been launched in Singapore in January this year.

The Dealer of the Year award was introduced by Aston Martin Asia Pacific in 2016 to evaluate dealers across the region on a quarterly basis via four different metrics to measures the dealer's ability to perform in various aspects – Business, Sales, Marketing and Aftersales.

Mr Pang Cheong Yan, Managing Director - Prestige Division, Wearnes Automotive said, “We are very honoured to be awarded the Dealer of the Year for the second consecutive year. This award is a great recognition for the commitment and hard work of the team. We will continue to pursue operational excellence and coupled with the strong product line-up delivered under Aston Martin's Second Century Plan, we will soar to greater heights together.”

Patrik Nilsson, President of Aston Martin APAC added, “It has been a great pleasure working with the Aston Martin Singapore team. The dedication and effort that the team has put into their work make them truly deserving of this award. This is just the beginning and I look forward to working with them on the launch of many more exciting new models in the coming years.”
