Opulently Over The Top

The Director Of the Russian Circus Lives As He Works

-

Opulent, eclectic and designed to match the eccentricity and personality of its owner; the Director of the Royal Circus of Russia, Giya Eradze, trusted Tatyana Myronova’s expertise in American Neoclassical styling for this project. The Russian interior designer, who is known for exquisite interiors, focused the owner’s love for entertaining and amusement through Boca do Lobo’s unique and iconic accent piece, the Imperfectio armchair from Limited Edition.

Intended to be a place for private business, Giya’s apartment is different from what is usually the norm. It’s luxurious, emblematic, iconic. The goal was to make him feel as if he’s in his own private circus, putting him in a place that reflected the best parts of his work and his personality. The decor of the apartment is remarkable for its gold, as well as exotic and bold accessories. Imponent pieces that combine in a harmonious and interesting way.

The Director didn’t hide his fascination for the famous, colorful and intense patterns of the very recognized Versace name. In the apartment, especially the dining room, the Versace design presence is more than noticeable. Present everywhere within the apartment, gold dominates, in every detail and pattern. A kaleidiscopic combination of tropical and exotic colors with royal touches and exquisite ornaments.

The Imperfectio armchair, luxurious and exclusive, is an expression of the imperfect aesthetic, the appeal of that which is authentic art and that which is true to life. Just as it is in the circus, the living room’s deco, especially the armchair, expresses imperfection and, at the same time, a sense of flow between the pieces of furniture. It creates a sense of delight, celebration and happiness.

Giya Eradze describes his apartment as bold, chic, wild and royal. Yet conveying the festive atmosphere of a circus: celebration, ease, enjoyment and contentedness. The diversity of colors and textures throughout the apartment speaks of a versatile personality, one with a taste for luxury and art. The bathroom is eclectic, and is an elegant tribute to Ancient Greece. The ceiling in the bedroom is a graphical represesention of the African Savanna and the warm colours of the continent. A fusion of different parts of the planet, cultures and traditions.

This Tatyana Myronova project is an elevation of design to a whole new level, revolutionary and unique. A masterly designed synthesis of an iconic personality with a luxurious and extravagant decoration.
