SICC’S WILDLIFE PARTY

Golf courses aren’t exactly deserted during this time of shutdown, uninvited and unwelcome guests of the boarish nature have been monkeying around and giving greenkeepers headaches. The expansive SICC has a total of 81 holes – four 18-hole courses and a nine-hole course – now devoid of golfers. General Manager Desmond Tay said, “That’s party time for all the wildlife. The past few weeks I’ve seen so many wild boars and monkeys coming to the golf course. It’s become their playground now. The wild boar have been doing a lot of damage.” The club has now engaged wild life specialists to help stop the party before golf courses are due to re-open.
