The Philosophy Of Luxe Living

LIFE

Henge, renowned for creating unique and precious luxury home interiors with strong and sophisticated personalities, continues its expansion in international markets with the inauguration of a monobrand space in the Russian capital. The showroom is located in the refined Yakimanka district in Moscow, renowned for its cultural institutions, as well as for high-level restaurants and clubs.

The Henge philosophy demonstrates the life that flows between those who live there and its pieces, not as furniture in a domestic space but as companions on a daily journey that guides emotions.

Design and furniture are defined by its materials - fossilized woods, distinctive varieties of marble, burnished silver-plated brass, brushed bronze, and hefty vegetable-tanned leathers. The brand’s furnishings are a statement of fundamental rejection of the industrial method of production.

The result of deep research that places the emphasis on “living” at the heart of its design, the showroom in Moscow under the artistic direction of Creative Director Massimo Castagna, showcases the skilled hands of the Henge artisan, true to the Made in Italy tradition.

Articulated on two levels, the showroom reflects the contemporary and sophisticated interior projects around the world, in which Henge stands as a valuable partner, offering furnishings, upholstery, lighting, accessories, up to special products with a high level of customisation, where everything is handmade, far from serial production systems.

The living area is dominated by the generous shapes of the Lailand sofa in gray fabric with sand casted brass legs, and by the RF chaise longue characterised by the enveloping back in Nubuck leather. Enhancing the space are the imposing full-height Bistro S bookcase and the D Code coffee table in burnished brass.

In line with the brand philosophy, both the brass Mushroom tables, created by the famed Yabu Pushelberg design studio, as well as the minimalist Be-mine coffee table designed by Massimo Castagna, are obtained through the sand casting process. Each piece is the result of craftsmanship that can be made to measure.

The Stealth table is the protagonist of the dining area, supported by a laserwelded metal structure to form an alveolar composition with a stone top. The Air Light chandelier in Murano glass with a burnished brass structure illuminates the room. Zagg chairs, with leather covered seat and legs, are arranged around it.

Henge understands the importance of lighting in enhancing the refined metal finishes and the natural beauty of materials. On the first floor there is the wall composition of Abaco lights, in H-silver patina and white crystal stone; together with the scenic Elbus wall lamps, characterised by the heat-treated oak structure.

The Henge statement is that no industry can replicate what they create, because the brand remains bound to production principles where nature, weather, climate and the seasons still play a vital role in the final result, and where the working process has an ancient history of tradition and excellence.
