WE DID IT! After half a year of planning, enough air miles to circle the world several times over and a crew of 30, we present to you #legend's first quadruple cover issue. The cast of the cover was an absolute dream: Marc Jacobs, easily one of the world's most recognisable fashion designers, with some of China's top models from present and past and to top everything off, the shoot was lensed in Shanghai by one of China's most internationally recognised photographers, Chen Man. It would be a lie to say that this cover shoot wasn't a huge undertaking but we wouldn't have it any other way.
On the fashion front, spring summer 2018 is now behind us and we're now stepping into the nethervoid between seasons dubbed “pre-fall”. The best thing about this trans-seasonal collection is the potential mileage that you can get out if it because Pre-Fall collections are so versatile without being overly directional so you can wear these pieces well into next year while keeping it fresh. With that said, in this issue's fashion spreads, we take our favourite pieces and present them in different scenarios from the horse stable to the streets at night-time showing the adaptability of fashion that this season has to offer.
Meanwhile our creative director Gordon Lam travels to Marrakech to find his lucky charm and features editor Marta Colombo reminisces on the power of the television show Sex and the City as it hits it's 20th anniversary this year and we remember a brighter time when the four women ruled the streets of New York City long before the online feud between Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker.
As we enter the summer months, there's one topic that's on the tip of everybody's tongues – travel. What's your favourite thing to do on your travels?
