In Antwerp, MoMu's exhibition of Belgian designer Olivier Theyskens explores 20 years of his creative evolution in the fashion business, his craftsmanship and the changing atmospheres of his work through a multitude of silhouettes imbued with his couture spirit. From his darkly romantic side of early designs to his mastering of textiles and cut at Nina Ricci, and to his American adventure with Theyskens' Theory and the relaunch of his own brand, the designer's portfolio of work reflects the myriad facets of the contemporary fashion industry across couture, demi-couture and ready-to-wear.
