Dress watches for big deals
2_ H. MOSER & CIE Pioneer Centre Seconds Automatic
H. Moser isn’t just known for making million-dollar watches out of Swiss cheese (as famously seen at this year’s SIHH) – the watchmaker also knows how to create classic, no-fuss timepieces that are simply brilliant in their quality and execution. The Pioneer Centre Seconds Automatic features a deep midnight-blue fumé dial, faceted indices and partially skeletonised hands. At the heart of the watch beats the proprietary HMC 200 movement.
3_ A. LANGE & SÖHNE Richard Lange Jumping Seconds
The platinum model of this watch was released last year – and it has now been followed by a second version in pink gold, in a limited edition of 100 watches. The Richard Lange Jumping Seconds puts the seconds measurement in the spotlight, where a blued seconds hand advances along the largest circle in 60 steps per minute. A constant-force escapement was developed to deliver the switching impulse for the seconds jump; it also powers the watch for 42 hours.
