RICHARD MILLE RM 020 TOURBILLON POCKET WATCH

Richard Mille has reinterpreted the classic pocket watch in a dramatic and beautiful way with the RM 020, which features a manually wound movement with hours and minutes, and a 10-day power reserve. It’s the first pocket watch ever created that utilises a non-metallic baseplate of carbon nanofiber, an isotropic composite material formed under high pressure and extreme temperatures of up to 2,000˚C, which was originally created for US Air Force jets. Extremely stable, this high-tech material ensures the watch maintains stable timekeeping under varying conditions and temperatures. The tourbillon escapement is driven by a double winding barrel. The RM 020 comes with a titanium watch chain with quick-attach and -release mechanism, and can also be used as a pendulette de bureau when placed on a desk stand.
