On a serendipitous day in London a few years ago, Simone Ng, founder and creative director of Simone Jewels, met Katerina Perez, a renowned jewellery insider known and respected by both jewellery lovers and brands.

What started as a simple conversation about featuring Katerina in Simone’s “Bombshell” 2019/2020 collection look book eventually transformed into a capsule collection collaboration. The result: A 15-piece collection that features limited edition designs, comprised of earrings and rings, all set with ethically sourced recycled gold.

Zeroing in on the jewellery’s look, it adopts a fluid, organic design that is set with Simone’s signature hand-carved gemstones, such as sapphire, aquamarine, amethyst, chalcedony, and mother of pearl. These cool hues are not only beautiful to look at, but they also complement the colour of Katerina’s eyes.

If we dig a little deeper, you’ll discover that the design and inspiration behind the pieces aims to empower women, giving them the opportunity to believe that the sky is the limit and encouraging them to reach for the stars, push boundaries, and experience endless possibilities.
