Little Bao Diner

-

HK$300 per person

Little Bao has become one of the must-visit establishments for locals and out-of-towners alike thanks to its Japanese-Western fusion dishes and creative bao. Share the plethora of delicious small plates, from a sumptuous lamb tartare with tofu chips to the truffle fries served with shiitake tempeh before moving on to the fluffy bao—one of the best being the fried chicken bao, with its crispy skin and spicy Sichuan mayo. You’ll find the refreshing cocktails made from yuzu leaves or elderflower a great way to combat some of the spicier elements. Be sure to save room for one of the sweet ice cream bao at the end. Thanks to its larger real estate, there’s not usually much of a queue at the Causeway Bay restaurant and the young, friendly staff are always quick and responsive. If it strikes your fancy, prolong your evening away from the noise of the diner by sipping a last cocktail on the terrace before heading out for the night.
