La Chine

-

MOP250 per person

Housed in the unmistakeable “Eiffel Tower” at The Parisian hotel, La Chine plays its part as a glamorous dining destination. To reach it, you must ascend the escalator to the bridge that connects the hotel to the tower, a journey that sets up expectations as you walk down the marbled hallway towards the dining room. In the daytime it’s bright with natural light that streams through the windows, and at lunchtime a happy buzz emanates from diners gathered to enjoy dim sum as well as extravagantly presented a la carte dishes. The goldfishshaped shrimp dumplings are popular, swimming in a golden broth, and the signature suckling pig “eclair” with foie gras, apple and black truffle caviar, offers a melange of flavours and textures. Service is enthusiastic and welcoming, a far cry from the stereotypical aloofness associated with Parisians.
