The Macallan

Being a branded bar from a Scottish label, you can expect tartans, leather chesterfields and all those details to transport you to the Highlands. Nonetheless, you’ll find bottles from all over Scotland and the rest of the world. The menu encourages you to taste widely, with a number of whisky flights available, The Macallan Fine Oak at various ages, Scottish single malts and a global selection that includes whisky from countries not necessarily known for distilling it, such as India and Australia. Stick with straight pours (apart from the whisky, there’s also a decent wine list) as cocktails aren’t this bar’s forte. If you’re feeling nibbly, there’s also a small menu of bar snacks to keep you going—and with a 400-strong whisky list, you’re going to need it.
