GOLDEN FLOWER

-

One of Wynn Macau’s star restaurants, Tan cuisine specialist Golden Flower is also one of the city’s greatest dining destinations. The restaurant leads guests into a garden-themed dining space, surrounded by patterns of flowers from the golden panels in the perimeter to artistic elements installed throughout the space. Golden Flower eases its guests into an exploratory journey of cuisine offerings, designed and crafted by the kitchen team led by Liu Guo-zhu. Guests should expect bold flavours from dishes not only from Tan cuisine, but also from Lu, Sichuan, and Cantonese that enhance the dining experience. Tan cuisine’s boldness relies heavily on chicken—notably in fresh clam and jasmine in chicken soup, marinated chicken with plum and Chinese yellow wine and braised Chinese cabbage with dried shrimps in chicken broth. Other dishes, such as stir-fried prawn with hawthorn apple in sweet-and sour-sauce showcases butterflied shrimps, cooked and tossed with a sauce that clings on the crunchy coral curls. Golden Flower’s tea menu is exceptional, featuring a list of Chinese teas from popular varieties to seasonal harvest selections, carefully matched to guests’ dishes and meticulously brewed to order.
