IL TEATRO

-

Il Teatro’s name is Italian for theatre, and the venue proves dining is as much about performance as it is about food. The private elevator takes you to the lake-front restaurant, inviting you into the artistic world of the opera during dinner service. With a spreading panoramic view of the performance lake at the front of Wynn Macau, Il Teatro offers an ideal front-row view of the nightly musical fountain performances that accompany classic Italian gourmet cuisine featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients imported directly from Italy. Il Teatro’s menu offerings are rich and authentic, with some surprises along the way. Grilled Sicilian octopus and fritto misto (deep-fried seafood) are ideal starters for sharing, but save room for pastas and risotto, expertly prepared. Opt for the four cheese ravioli and lobster risotto, two of the most celebrated dishes from the establishment. Portioning at Il Teatro is generous, and courses are much better shared. The wine list showcases wines from around the world, though the stronger selections are, as expected, sourced from around Italy.
