Whistler Blackcomb

-

CANADA

• With a long snow season from November to May, Canada’s Whistler Blackcomb is the largest ski resort in North America and one of the largest in the world. Mountains Whistler and Blackcomb were connected in 2008 with the construction of the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, creating a combined skiable area of 8,171 acres of groomed pistes, a riveting 1,610-metre descent, and more than 200 marked trails for beginners to elite skiers. Whistler Blackcomb also made it into the Guinness Book of World Records by being the first ski resort to allow snowboarders in. Its majestic mountain scenery hosted the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in 2010. The picturesque and absolutely relaxing Scandinave Spa set in the wilderness have hot springs and massages for your tired body after skiing, and a helicopter is ready to give you a wonderful aerial view of the entire resort.

Four Seasons Resort And Residences Whistler is big in privacy. It has suites and private residences, all well-appointed to be every guests’ home away from home. Marvel at the natural ice sculptures inside Canada’s largest ice cap in a guided tour or have the chopper drop you off at a Four Seasons-exclusive glacier where you can tee off with your buddies.

At 1,427 feet above the valley floor, the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is the world’s highest lift of its kind and the world’s longest unsupported span for a lift of its kind. The view of British Columbia on top of the PEAK 2 PEAK is a dazzling sight to behold. www.fourseasons.com/whistler
