Bridgestone India enters two-wheeler tyre market with ‘Neurun’
Bridgestone India, a group company of Bridgestone Corporation, the world’s leading rubber and tyre company, has entered the two-wheeler tyre market for motorcycles and scooters in India under the brand name ‘Neurun’.

It was a former sole tyre supplier to ‘Moto GP’, the world’s highest motocycle racing category with ultra-high performance two-wheeler tyre.”
Neurun tyres are made available in 5 sizes and are named as Dart, Gemini F, Gemini RX and Spur. The price starts from Rs 1300. Neurun covers 90/100-10 tyre size which is used in majority of the scooters in India. For the motorcycles like the Pulsar, Platina, CT100, Discover, Splendor, Passion, Star City, Sport, Victor, GS150R and the Centuro, 2.75-17, 2.75-18, 3.00-17 and 3.0018 sizes are available.
Strategic expansion
Bridgestone India is a market leader for passenger tyre radials and is a strong player in the truck, bus and off-road tyre segments. It will now expand its spectrum of tyre products with the Neurun. Neurun initially will be available at Bridgestone’s current dealer network across India. Bridgestone India, which started its operations in 1996, has 500 dealerships in over 200 cities in India. The company set up its first manufacturing facility in Kheda, Madhya Pradesh in 1998, and the second plant in Chakan, Pune in 2013. Now Bridgestone India is one of the leading tyre companies in both the OEM and replacement market.
Bridgestone India has its retail stores both in urban and rural markets. Services at these Bridgestone stores include wheel alignment, wheel balancing, tyre changing and sale of alloy wheels.
